Solstickans youth hostel in Mellbystrand is an old holiday camp for children that have been rebuilt to youth hostel. From the youth hostel it's about 150m to Sweden 's longest beach – twelve kilometres long. New 2004 are the 12 new built cabins that are available to rent weekly or daily.
The youth hostel is situated near E6 which makes it easy to come and go. Turn on Mellbystrand exit on the highway and go towards Mellbystrand, drive south on “Kustvägen”, the youth hostel is situated about 1 km south. The roads are well signposted and there is good parking space.
